Tour Itenery

  • On arrival you will be met and welcomed by the representative of Colourful Sri Lanka Tours, and transferred to Negombo(Travel time from Airport to Negombo is approximately 20 minutes).
  • Check into the hotel and relax.
  • After check-in at the hotel, you will have ample time to relax and freshen in the goldi sand beach and evening visit of the city of Negombo.
  • Overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 02 -Negombo - Anuradhapura

  • After breakfast, check out and proceed to Anuradhapura. (Travel time from Negombo to Anuradhapura approximately 3h:30m).
  • Check into the hotel and relax.
  • Evening - Visit the ancient city of Anuradhapura, first capital of Sri Lanka. Tour of the ruins of splendid ancient shrines and buildings. Visit the Sri Maha Bodhi (A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE).
  • Overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

  • After breakfast, check out and proceed to Polonnaruwa. (Travel time from Polonnaruwa to Anuradhapura approximately 2 hour).
  • Visit the second ancient capital of Sri Lanka and commence sightseeing.
  • On completion leave for Dambulla. (Travel time from Polonnaruwa to Dambulla approximately 2 hours).
  • Check into the hotel and relax.
  • Evening visit Dambulla Cave temple.
  • Overnight stay in Dambulla.

  • After breakfast, proceed to Sigiriya. (Travel time from Dambulla to Sigiriya approximately 30 minutes.).
  • Visit Sigiriya Lion Rock the UNESCO world heritage which is known as the Right World Wonder.
  • On completion, sightseeing Sigiriya.
  • Evening go on a jeep safari in the Minneriya National Park.

  • After breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Kandy. The last kingdom of Sri Lanka.(Travel time from Dambulla to Kandy approximately 2 hours).
  • En-route visit Spice Garden in Matale.

  • Visit The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha and witness the Cultural Dance Show featuring various dancing types of Sri Lanka including devotional “Fire walking”.
  • Overnight stay in Kandy.

  • After breakfast, checkout and procced to Nuwara eliya. (Travel time from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya approximately 2h:30m).
  • En route visit Ramboda Waterfalls, Tea factory & Tea plantation for a first-hand experience in the whole production process of Ceylon tea, reputed to be the best in the world.
  • Check into the hotel and relax.
  • Commence city tour of Nuwara Eliya visiting the Pink Post Office, golf course, Gregory’s Lake, Race Course.
  • Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

  • Early morning - with a packed breakfast from the hotel, set off to a hike in the plains of Horton. Wander in the seeming plains of Horton and see the nature's masterpieces carved on earth. Trek to visit the “Worlds end” and “Bakers” Water fall. (Travel time from Nuwara Eliya to Horton Plains approximately 1h:30m).
  • Commence the world’s most scenic train ride from Ohiya to Ella.
  • Evening - Sightseeing the Ella.

  • After breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Mirissa. (Travel time form Ella to Mirissa approximately 4 hours).

  • In early morning commence Whale Watching Boat Safari. Witness the giants of the ocean(Blue Whales). Sometimes Dolphins.
